Congratulations to our own Bonnie Williams! Bonnie won the Grand Prize in the national American Leather Comfort Recliner Sales Contest. She is an interior designer at Toms-Price in Skokie at Old Orchard Center. Within a given amount of time, Bonnie Williams sold more American Leather recliners than any other sales associate in any furniture store in the country!
As the Grand Prize winner, Bonnie will receive $2,500 and an American Leather Comfort Recliner. “I don’t win a lot of things because I’m not a gambler,” said Bonnie, who added that she got very emotional when she told her husband about her winnings.”But I’m thrilled! This is just a blessing.” Bonnie Williams has been a designer at Toms-Price for eight years. Great job, Bonnie!
American Leather has been sold at Toms-Price for nearly ten years. The company was founded in 1990 on what they like to call “one revolutionary idea”. That idea was to make high quality custom leather furniture in the fastest time possible. CEO and founder Bob Duncan admired “just-in-time” methods of the Japanese car industry and adapted them to furniture production.
American Leather sells over 130 different collections in styles from traditional to contemporary. They are well known at Toms-Price for their state-of-the-art comfort recliners like the Ella, shown below, and luxurious comfort sleeper sofas. Take a look at some of the exciting features of the Comfort Recliners that Bonnie Williams admires.
The American Leather factory is located just outside of Dallas, Texas. They are probably the most highly automated leather furniture manufacturer in the world. “At American Leather we make truly beautiful furniture by expertly blending refined design, meticulous craftsmanship and operational excellence,” said Kim DiMaria, American Leather sales representative to Toms-Price. She notes, “You can customize our pieces in leather, fabric or even your own fabric. American Leather sofas, sectionals, accent chairs with ottomans and upholstered beds are all available through Toms-Price stores in the Chicago area.” The sales contest that Bonnie Williams won involved 5 different regions of the country where American Leather is sold.
What a great accomplishment!
Nationwide, every store, fantastic! But not surprising.
Nobody anywhere knows more about design and furniture. This girl is good.
Bravo, Felicidades Bonnie!
