Lamp Variety

Posted on November 19th, 2009 by Toms Price Home.

I’ve been observing that at any given moment, in a Toms-Price store, there are at least 5 or 6 great looking lamps visible from wherever you stand. Lighting has a huge effect on your interior spaces. Remember the one dismal bulb in the ceiling of that old basement or storage room? Remember the glare, the murky shadows, and how it felt? The same principles apply to your great room, bedroom and kitchen. Lighting can make you want to linger in a space [ read more… ]

Happy Anniversary

Posted on November 9th, 2009 by Toms Price Home.

They’re all about setting up and taking down; unpacking, tagging, selling and delivering; rushed customers, stressed coworkers, and the feeling that no matter how hard you try there’s no way to get it all [ read more… ]

Continuing with the garden produce/interior design connection, this chair is so yellow and looks so squash-able — never overlook comfort in the furniture you choose. End of Summer Garden Produce — Walking on Eggplant

Posted on September 10th, 2009 by Toms Price Home.

Garden colors are on my mind this week… This is an exquisite rug of the deepest, richest eggplant ground — an earthy aubergine that I would love underfoot. For a handcrafted wool rug, I think it is quite unbelievably priced at $899 for an 8′ x 10′ size.
