Serenade House in Wheaton
The upcoming Love Your Neighbor Designer House will showcase local interior design and artisan talent. It is the brainchild of Nancy Shepherd, owner of Serenade Home for the past 8 years. As an interior designer and home decor shop owner she has brought her inspiring vision to the western suburbs with a combination of vintage and new furniture and accessories in a historic Wheaton multi-level house.
As of spring 2015, Serenade Home has transformed itself into a nonprofit organization. All upcoming benefit proceeds will work toward loving neighbors in need. You will see references to it popping up with this hashtag: #loveyourneighbor.
The event will be a fun way to shop since all items shown in the Love Your Neighbor Designer House will be for sale. Two Toms-Price Wheaton designers will be participating: Christine Lewis and Susan Palinski. They will be designing one of the rooms in the house. You may read about all of the participating designers here.

Serenade will be hosting the Love Your Neighbor Designer House event as well as an artisan market on May 1 and 2. Order your tickets online and come to see it from 9:oo am to 4:00 pm. The artisan market is going to be outdoors in the parking area of the house. Local artisans will show their work and have gifts for sale.
Nine local designers will be decorating rooms in the house at 129 N. West Street, Wheaton. Each designer is sure to bring new inspiration and beautiful items to her room. Serenade’s website notes: “The attendees will be able to nominate local individuals or families in need and the proceeds will go to filling as many as it will allow.”
