Dreaming in Emerald

Posted on September 5th, 2013 by Toms Price Home.

Where will this color take you – to the South Seas, the rain forest or the Land of Oz? All of the above, since it is a color of many moods, adding both excitement and comfort. You’ll find abundant variations to tailor this hue to your own taste. You can add a brilliant burst of the gem itself in a decorative accent; revel in the soothing tones of a sea foam wash beneath your feet in a beautiful rug; cover your walls with a rich veil of emerald green – it grows on you!

From the minute our walls were painted at Toms-Price stores in Wheaton, Skokie, Lincolnshire and South Barrington, we figuratively snapped to attention and took notice, then gradually grew into a happy and peaceful relationship with it. All-in-all we think you will enjoy this Pantone-declared “Color of the Year”, for 2013, whether in small pops or all-encompassing environments.

Our display artists, at the four main Toms-Price furniture stores, have used their amazing talents to provide fresh takes on emerald this year. As the lush green days of summer begin to change, we hope you can drop by to see their creations and how this perennial color might fit into your interiors. These photos are from the Wheaton and South Barrington Toms-Price stores.
