Spring Color Story

Posted on April 19th, 2010 by Toms Price Home.

And, what about those colors? Are we in for some bright tomorrows? The colors appearing in the new fabrics and accessories are clear, fresh and crisp — what the color experts call “pure”. Corals and butters and grassy greens, and yes, for the first time in many years, BLUE. Not the muted colonial blue of the past but perky periwinkles, soft sky and deep, deep indigo. Blue is supposedly America’s favorite color, so it’s the perfect choice as we start to emerge from our economic black hole back into the light — where sunshine and blue, blue skies really do exist.

    Maryam,
This fantabulous paisley is from our Lee Upholstery fabrics. It's called Siena Aegean — a lightweight 100% cotton. The color, in reality, looks a bit more turquoise than my photo shows. You can find it at leeindustries.com under fabrics.
