Thanksgiving Dining Room Display

Last Thursday our South Barrington Toms-Price store, in the Arboretum Shopping Center, hosted a holiday decorating “how-to” event. Mary Mazzeffi, our talented display designer, has an incredible store of knowledge about decorating and she shared her ideas for achieving fresh and inviting holiday displays. Over 40 people gave her their rapt attention as she described making an edible sugared fruit centerpiece, making your own snowglobe and more. Each guest received a goodie bag with gifts from Toms-Price and other Arboretum participants.

The Thanksgiving display was anchored by a beautiful Zimmerman Chair hutch and credenza, decked out with fresh gourds, pumpkins and candles. The Argonne host and hostess chairs were dressed up with burlap bows and dried flowers.

For Christmas home decorations Mary wrapped books and frames in beautiful Christmas paper and lit up the Danforth Entertainment Center with greenery and lights.
