The Mini-Skirt

Posted on December 7th, 2010 by Toms Price Home.

This Capeville chair is a fresh “new traditional” slipcovered look for a dining area. It could be combined with other wood chairs or benches, or made with solid fabrics, if you prefer to keep everything from looking too patterned. The scrumptious tailoring has a flounce and mini-skirt with double pleated corners and a bordered edge.

At a small additional charge, you can really go to town by accenting the border with a complementary contrasting fabric, as shown here with the little stripe fabric. The skirt is open at the front corners of the chair to see the high knee of the saber leg. The outside back detail that has a center pleat accented with two casual frog and button attachments.
