Oak, Maple, Elm Street, USA

Posted on September 19th, 2008 by Toms Price Home.

Leaves are a favorite design on fabrics, with their rich colors and graceful shapes. These photos are all of fabrics from Wesley Hall and I’m pretty sure you’ll find them in Chicagoland only at Toms-Price. They would really make a room glow this season, or any season, wouldn’t they?

Leaves can be embossed on leathers or shaped into bowls, plates and trays. I’ve seen fabric “leaves” as fringes on dresses or lamp shades. They’re some of our favorite place names, too. Almost every midwestern town has a street named Oak or Maple, Chestnut or Sycamore. And many a town and business has chosen to design their logo with the leaf as their symbol.
